Angela is an experienced educator who is passionate about empowering disengaged youth & people with disabilities to discover & live their true purpose in education & employment

Angela has a Bachelor of Science with majors in Psychology and Human Resource Management. Inspired by her own personal experience as a parent of two children with significant learning difficulties related to disability (ASD) and dyslexic traits, she pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Learning and Teaching allowing her to qualify as a registered teacher. During her decade as an educator in schools with significant numbers of children with complex behaviours, Angela gained valuable experience in conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments & developing Behaviour Support Plans. Additionally, she earned Counselling accreditation with Lifeline, where she later became a training facilitator, helping new counsellors develop critical skills. Her passion for justice and advocacy has led her to pursue a postgraduate law degree (Juris Doctor) at USQ. Angela is also accredited in NDIS Support Coordination & is a Psychosocial Recovery Coach. This foundation of both education & experience in the disability sector allows Angela to guide participants on the National Disability Insurance Scheme, helping them understand their eligible supports and advising how to maximise their plan funding for capacity-building.
